Areas of Interest 

The five most significantly affected Areas of Interest (AOI) were identified. The study team, which consists of drainage experts, planners and engineers, developed multiple potential solutions for these AOIs. These potential solutions were developed considering existing drainage systems, available space for new improvements, environmentally friendly tools and approaches, and consistency with current City of Mesa initiatives and plans.

 

The study team will further evaluate these potential solutions and rank them according to potential cost and benefits. The ultimate result from this study will be a single recommended solution for each AOI, which will be included in a recommended implementation plan for the City.
